The Centre

History

The first meeting regarding the building of a Treatment Centre on Vancouver Island occurred in June 1977. On May 13, 1980 Tsow-Tun Le Lum was recognized as a Society under the Societies Act of British Columbia. The building was constructed and our doors opened to clients on June 26, 1988 and operated in Snaw Naw As territory until May 2023.

Our beautiful new healing house now sits in Cowichan territory; and we began offering our programs in January 2024 at this new location.
