APPEAL to Government to continue funding for Cultural Support Services

Do You Know??

Tsow-Tun Le-Lum’s Cultural Support Outreach Program is in jeopardy of losing the government funding required to continue offering essential trauma-informed cultural services.  This team provides traditional ceremony, teachings, and cultural support to individuals, families, communities, and organizations across BC and Yukon, and beyond.

They work together to provide support services such as:

• Cultural ceremony for Individual / families
• Community Crisis Response
• Brushings using various medicines
• Cultural teachings
• Grief and Loss workshops
• Cultural support and ceremony at hospitals
• Healing Circles
• MMIWG event support
• Cultural support at large events such as Elder / Youth conferences
• Educating others on Indigenous history
• Toll-free cultural support phone line
• Opening and closing prayers for meetings

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

• Write a letter (or email) the following Ministers as soon as possible. (No stamp required)

• Ensure others in your community know about the concern of losing this connection to cultural healing opportunities
